Daniel is a Software Engineer with over three years’ professional experience. He currently works with Udacity as a Fullstack Developer Session Lead where he uses his knowledge and skills as a software engineer to provide mentorship and other student support services. Prior to that, he worked with a few start-ups, two of which he is a co-founder (WasteCoin and Quidroo).
At Quidroo – an invoice factoring startup for Nigerian SMEs, he singlehandedly built and managed Quidroo’s first MVP completely which was used to win the Stellar Community fund of $35,000. With the funding, he led the engineering team to develop the second MVP which is powered by Stellar Blockchain technology. While at WasteCoin – a blockchain powered mobile application that educate and rewards recycling, he was the Product Owner/ Product manager who worked with other team members and developers to develop WasteCoin mobile app as deployed on both Play store and Google store. Personally, he designed and implemented the use of a Third-party Machine learning technology into the application while also actively developing the app’s landing pages.
Aside his current job, he also works as a volunteer with Stellar Blockchain Network as a Project Reviewer, Nigerian Institution of Petroleum Engineers (NIPetE) as the web administrator amongst others. Outside work related activities, Daniel serves currently as the Alternate Young Professional Chairman for the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Abuja Section and an active member of the Recyclers Association of Nigeria (RAN)
